We Build Software attends Earth Day at the Museum of Discovery and Science
This past weekend, our team at WeBuildSoftware was thrilled to take part in the Earth Day celebration hosted at the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale. It was a fun, interactive, family-focused event that brought together local businesses, educators, and community members with a shared mission: protecting our planet.
Right in the heart of downtown, the event was buzzing with energy, from kids exploring science exhibits to local vendors showcasing eco-friendly products. It was a space where learning met action, and where even the smallest hands were busy planting seeds, asking big questions, and getting excited about sustainability.
Community, curiosity and conservation
We had the opportunity to connect with several small business owners, many of whom are leading the way in green practices. Whether it was sustainable packaging, environmental education, or local conservation efforts, their passion and creativity were a powerful reminder of what’s possible when people care deeply about their impact.
While our day-to-day work lives in the tech world, Earth Day gave us a refreshing chance to listen, learn, and be inspired by the grassroots energy of our local community.
Key Highlights
- The event was filled with hands-on science exhibits designed for kids, making environmental learning fun and accessible.
- We heard from small business owners focused on sustainability and came away with fresh ideas and meaningful connections.
- It reinforced our belief that innovation doesn’t just happen in labs or on screens; it starts in conversations, classrooms, and communities.
Looking Ahead
At WeBuildSoftware, we believe building something great starts with purpose. Earth Day at the Museum of Discovery and Science was a reminder that when we bring together education, creativity, and community, we lay the foundation for real, lasting change.
We’re proud to have participated, and we look forward to continuing to support initiatives that create a healthier, more sustainable future for all.
